Spring is a time for competition and excitement, a time for the NBA and NHL playoffs to take off and new artists to take their shots at breaking through. The perfect example may just come from AWAR and his new leak Iron Butterfly, making its premiere in the Booth right now. While the song itself is not about sports, it does represent what it takes to be a champion - having the determination and strength to outlast your obstacles and opponents. Produced by M-Phazes, the MPD was in full affect as we get an underground bass and snare combo that is simple but powerful enough to help AWAR deliver his message. With an inspiring hook that will wake up even the laziest of people, AWAR spits about how life is not going to set up the win for you, and if you want it then you are going to have to get it done yourself.
